Pharmaceutical Association
- The American Pharmaceutical Association’s home page provides a
link to their pharmaceutical care site. Once there, short synopsis of various care related
topics are available with links to expanded information. Recent topics include the
development of drug treatment protocols, principals and ethics of pharmaceutical care
practice and information on the American Center for Pharmaceutical Care seminars.

Natural Medicine Pharmacists
- This site provides access to factual information on natural
medicines. Provision of quality pharmaceutical care often requires a knowledge of
non-traditional therapies. ANMP includes a question and answer page where natural product
queries can be posted. Additionally CE courses are available as well as article excerpts
from The Source the newsletter of the ANMP.

Community Pharmacy Association
- NCPA’s political action committee NARDPAC is the largest
pharmacy PAC in the United States. As such this site provides a quick overview of current
pharmacy topics and legislation. Two useful links in the site are RxHeadlines and News,
both under the NCPA pull-down menu. There is also a link to NIPCO the National Institue
for Pharmaceutical Care Outcomes which explains their mission.

- AltiMed Pharmaceutical sponsors this great site. A partial list of
resources includes a discussion group, a tutorial guide to the internet, access to search
engines and monthly health topics for both pharmacists and patients. PharmaLinks, within
this site, contains hundreds of rated health care links. Other areas of this page are
available with free registration.

- Auburn University provides this site. Within the site there are
downloads of pharmaceutical care materials, information on automation and software as well
as links to other pharmacy related sites.

- PharmWeb is a worldwide site that originated in the United Kingdom
and has an international flavor. This page features subject specific discussion forums,
chat rooms, directories and much more. The forums, including one on pharmaceutical care,
allow an archive search for subjects of interest.
